Job summary

Amrize is seeking a skilled Millwright/Maintenance professional to support a heavy industrial facility. You will maintain, repair, install and troubleshoot conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors and related mechanical systems in a shop and field setting.

Candidates should have 5+ years of millwright experience, welding and fabrication ability, blueprints reading, and safety certifications. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and extended weeks including weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of millwright experience in heavy industrial settings.
• Know-how in lockout/tagout, confined spaces, fall protection, and other safety protocols.
• Certifications: NCCCO Crane (swing, lattice, tower) and welding/fabrication related.
• Experience with hydraulic systems and precision alignment.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and interpret mechanical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes and bearings.
• Perform motor/gearbox alignment and installation.
• Repair/disassemble/overhaul mechanical components and systems.
• Maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems on industrial machinery.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with MSHA standards.
• Coordinate installation work with management and plan sequences from blueprints.
• Carry out safety practices and housekeeping across work areas.
