Job summary

Amrize is seeking a skilled millwright to perform maintenance, inspection, and repairs of mechanical systems across the plant. The role includes coordinating with contractors, ensuring quality and safety, and participating in cross-training for broader capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of industrial millwright experience, with expertise in gear boxes, shaft alignment, and bearing installation, and a valid driver’s license. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years industrial millwright experience required.
• Experience rebuilding gear boxes, shaft alignment on heavy industrial equipment, bearing installation preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintains mechanical systems throughout the plant.
• Works with contractor personnel ensuring quality control and productivity.
• Participates in training programs to broaden technical and non-technical skills.
• Interacts with Process Areas to gather or communicate information and solve problems.
• Assists with preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and lubricates plant equipment as needed.
• Supports other plant functions and participates in team meetings.
