Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Mill Creek, WA to ensure safe inspection, repair, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to sustain reliable operations, prioritizing safety and teamwork.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance or millwright work, with knowledge of mechanical drawings and the ability to interpret schematics.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Skilled in welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize maintenance activities independently or within a team.
• Support and comply with all Amrize Safety Policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Working at Heights (WAH), and confined space procedures.
• Ability to work safely in varied environmental conditions and around heavy equipment.
• Mobile equipment operation experience preferred (forklift, man lift, loader, etc.).
• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
• Fabricate, weld, cut, and assemble mechanical components as needed.
• Install, align, and move equipment according to specs and drawings.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment safely.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate findings to management.
• Collaborate with production and electrical teams to schedule work efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with plant clean-up and other support tasks as needed.
