Michaels Fort Wayne store seeks an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage guests of all ages, assist shoppers, and ensure smooth checkout experiences while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, communicating with clients and team members, and supporting omni-channel processes such as BOPIS/SFS. Prior retail or customer service experience is required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Must have experience working with children and children’s events.
• Excellent people skills and communication (written, verbal, and nonverbal).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Plan and coordinate events in-store, including children's parties.
• Engage with guests of all ages to create fun, creative experiences.
• Assist customers, locate products, and provide shopping solutions.
• Manage checkout processes and enroll in Rewards program when applicable.
• Support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
