The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an events-focused team member at our Las Vegas store to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children’s parties.

You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and support checkout efficiency while handling routine store tasks such as truck unload and merchandising. Ideal candidates will have excellent people skills, experience with children’s events, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills required.
• Experience working with children and children's events preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills; good listening.
• Solid organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Retail or customer service experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events within the Michaels store.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Engage with guests of all ages and promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys and Omni channel processes like BOPIS/SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes; ensure stock and merchandising.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with team members and guests; model positive behavior and inclusivity.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
