Job summary

Michaels in Glenview, IL is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run craft events and birthday parties inside the store. You will deliver friendly customer service, guide guests, and support checkout and store operations to ensure a fun, seamless experience.

Responsibilities include party planning, coordinating supplies and add-ons, facilitating activities, and communicating with clients and team members. Previous retail or event-experience is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience planning children’s events or parties is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events (children’s parties, craft classes) in-store.
• Engage with guests of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
