Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Craft Professional Communications Specialist to develop, execute, and report on communication and recruitment marketing initiatives that support hiring engagement and retention of craft professionals on Bechtel projects.

The role will liaise between Corporate Affairs & Marketing and Labor Relations to ensure communications align with enterprise brand standards and project workforce needs, while supporting Bechtel's brand as an employer of choice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing social media and digital campaigns, including planning and reporting.
• In lieu of degree, 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruitment marketing materials across social media, digital, print, and events.
• Translate workforce needs into targeted communications with project teams and Labor Relations.
• Draft recruitment messaging, employee stories, and promotional materials including social copy.
• Create and maintain content calendars aligned with project hiring priorities and campaigns.
• Support employer branding initiatives to position Bechtel as an employer of choice.
• Monitor social media trends and optimize campaign effectiveness and candidate engagement.
• Support craft professional communications campaigns as needed.
