Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an HR Communications Specialist to partner with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards to translate HR priorities into compelling communications for a global workforce. This role sits at the intersection of people strategy and storytelling, ensuring messages are clear, engaging, and aligned with Bechtel's values.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Communications, Public Relations or a related field and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience in HR, employee or change communications within large, global or distributed organizations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex HR content into clear language.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver communications plans that support people priorities across the enterprise.
Support change communications for organizational shifts and policy updates with clear messaging and timelines.
Create content for benefits, Total Rewards, performance cycles and open enrollment to drive awareness and participation.
Partner with Talent Acquisition on employer branding and recruitment marketing.
Draft and edit communications for HR leaders, including emails, town hall remarks and intranet content.
