Job summary

Soho House & Co is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and uphold the brand’s exceptional guest experience in our New York venue. You’ll greet guests, upsell, remember preferences, and contribute to a lively, service-driven atmosphere while maintaining quality across beverage programs.

Responsibilities include following service steps, maintaining clean bar areas, educating guests on drinks, describing daily specials, handling payments, checking IDs, and supporting barbacks to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in high-volume F&B operations.
• Craft cocktail experience and working with seasonally influenced items.
• Experience making coffee drinks is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests promptly while maintaining consistency.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable.
• Tips certified.
• Micros POS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and guidelines for cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks at the bar.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and coordinate with other bartenders; wash glassware and utensils.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings.
• Discuss and describe daily specials and food pairings to promote sales and dining experiences.
• Collect payment and operate POS system.
• Check IDs to enforce age requirements for alcohol and tobacco; monitor intoxication.
