Soho House & Co. is seeking a Bartender in New York to craft cocktails, serve guests, and contribute to an exceptional brand experience across our venues. You will greet guests, learn preferences, upsell items, and ensure a consistent, high-quality beverage program aligned with House Tonic standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in high-volume F&B operations.
• Craft cocktail experience with seasonal ingredients.
• Experience making coffee drinks is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver timely service while maintaining consistency.
• Strong communication and guest relation skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable availability.
• TIPS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and guidelines for cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks at the bar.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and assist fellow bartenders with glassware and prep.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options and daily specials.
• Discuss food pairings to promote enhanced dining experiences and sales.
• Handle payments and operate the cash register.
• Check IDs and monitor alcohol service according to law.
• Display bottles and glasses to promote beverage options and sales.
• Take care of guests in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Barbacks for replenishment.
• Prepare drinks according to recipes to ensure global beverage program consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
