Job summary

Coury Hospitality seeks a Bartender to deliver exceptional bar experiences, craft cocktails and beer, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and maintain accurate POS entries while upselling drinks and pairing with menu items.

The role requires staying attentive, maintaining a hospitable demeanor, and collaborating with front- and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must maintain applicable Kansas License.
• Must be age 21 or above.
• Outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of wine and beverage brand selections, drink garnishes, prices, etc.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and seat them in a friendly manner.
• Present drink menus, take orders, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Upsell drink specials and food items as directed by management.
• Provide wine service when necessary.
• Record drink orders in the POS system and process payments.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and inventory, and uphold sanitation standards.
• Communicate allergy and dietary restrictions clearly on tickets.
• Develop positive teamwork with FoH, BoH, and hotel staff.
