Job summary

The role requires strong spirits knowledge, the ability to multitask, and a cheerfully helpful attitude. Prior bar experience and knowledge of standard recipes are preferred; must be 21+ and capable of handling POS and payments.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or above.
• Outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of wine and beverage brand selections, drink garnishes, prices, etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of house cocktails, ingredients, and techniques.
• Able to confidently make food and beverage pairing recommendations.
• Knowledge of pre-check register operation.
• Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money.
• Knowledge of computer operations and ordering procedures.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly at the bar.
• Present drink menus, take beverage orders, prepare and serve drinks per standard recipes.
• Upsell drink specials and food items as directed by management.
• Execute wine service when necessary.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and drinks.
• Record drink orders in the POS system and process payments.
• Learn regular patrons' names and provide attentive service.
• Maintain bar stock and cleanliness; report maintenance issues.
