Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to join our Food and Beverage team. The ideal candidate will have extensive spirits knowledge, strong multitasking skills, and a welcoming, guest-focused approach to service.

You will craft cocktails and beer to standard recipes, upsell offerings, manage cash transactions at the bar, and maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation while ensuring a friendly atmosphere for patrons.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or above.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of wines by the glass and cocktails; able to pair beverages with food.
• Understanding of standardized cocktail recipes and garnishes.
• Ability to handle money and basic math.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashier duties.
• Basic sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and seat them in a friendly manner.
• Present drink menus, take orders, upsell beverages and food.
• Prepare and serve cocktails and beer per standard recipes.
• Record orders in the POS system and process payments.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock; restock inventory.
• Communicate allergy/dietary restrictions on tickets.
• Assist with bar duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain friendly, professional service and respond promptly to requests.
