The role emphasizes attention to details, teamwork with front-of-house and kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and guest care.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and positive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of wines by the glass and increasingly by the bottle.
• Deep understanding of house cocktails, ingredients, and recipes.
• Ability to pair food and beverages confidently.
• Basic math skills and cash handling ability.
• Familiarity with POS systems and computer operations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and seat them in a friendly manner (within 1 minute).
• Present menus, answer questions, take beverage orders, and upsell drinks and food.
• Perform wine service as needed and check guest satisfaction regularly.
• Record orders accurately in the POS and process payments accordingly.
• Note allergy and dietary restrictions on tickets and communicate with staff.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, stock bar supplies, and keep a professional appearance.
• Collaborate with FoH, BoH and hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Develop positive relationships with regular guests and remember names.
