Rebel Hotel Company is seeking a Bartender responsible for preparing food and drink orders, serving beverages and meals, and coordinating lounge/bar activities. The role requires handling age verification, presenting menus, and taking orders from guests and staff.

The position involves preparing drinks, ensuring timely service, maintaining cleanliness, and balancing receipts. Candidates should have 3–6 months of related experience and an Alcohol Awareness Certification, plus fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).
• Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Present menu, answer questions and take food and beverage orders from guests and/or serving staff.
• Prepare drink orders including wine, liquor, and beer.
• Prepare appetizers and food items according to recipes and standards.
• Monitor seating in lounge/bar area ensuring all guests are served.
• Compute bill and accept payment; track and balance sales receipts.
• Limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management.
• Clean bars, work areas, and tables, as well as glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
