Job summary

The Puyallup Tribe is seeking a CPS Supervisor/Intake to lead intake for child abuse/neglect investigations within the PTCS/ICW program. You will supervise CPS Investigators and FVS Case Managers, coordinate case assignments, and ensure timely, accurate documentation and reporting to support safety and best outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a B.S.W. required.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience in CPS investigations is required.
• Intermediate Word processing skills (MS Word) required.
• Knowledge and experience using spreadsheets (MS Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Takes and receives reports of child abuse/neglect and assigns to CPS Investigators/FVS Case Managers.
• Interview referrers and document information; ask clarifying questions and obtain details.
• Assess risk, safety and protective factors and document in the Children’s Services database.
• Research collateral and historical information in DCYF’s FamLink and PTCS files.
• Create intake notes and document all pertinent information.
• Consult with supervisor on intakes involving emergent risk or danger.
• Develop resources associated with job functions in the program.
