Job summary

Puyallup Tribe of Indians is seeking a CPA Program Manager to oversee the Child Placement Agency within Children’s Services in Tacoma. The role certifies foster homes to Washington licensing standards and coordinates child placements with a culturally sensitive approach.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field and at least four years of licensing foster homes, with strong supervisory and interagency collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is required and a minimum of four years of licensing foster homes or related experience.
• Supervisory abilities that promote effective staff performance are required.
• Strong knowledge of WACs, RCWs, ICW relating to the Child Placement Agency is required.
• Ability to maintain LD licensing requirements and ensure audits and reporting compliance.
• Ability to develop government-to-government relationships with DCYF and other agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Child Placement Agency within Children’s Services.
• Certify foster homes to WA licensing standards and coordinate child placements.
• Train and support foster/adoptive homes and department staff.
• Prepare CPA payment invoices and manage fiduciary accuracy.
• Collaborate with DCYF and other agencies to address waiver and licensing processes.
• Maintain licensing documentation and conduct background checks for caregivers.
