Job summary

Puyallup Tribe of Indians seeks a Program Coordinator to provide senior-level administrative support to PTCS/ICW. The role ensures smooth operations, maintains confidentiality, and supports staff onboarding, meetings, and data systems.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree and four years of administrative experience, with strong Word/Excel skills and familiarity with child welfare. Office-based with extensive record-keeping and scheduling responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a related field and four years of admin support to a senior executive, or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of and work experience in child welfare is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement department goals, policies and procedures.
• Support onboarding and exiting of staff.
• Receive and document tribal ancestry inquiries and ICW notifications; log and route to attorney.
• Coordinate agenda and event forms; manage signatures and tribal council submissions.
• Coordinate departmental community outreach events and special projects.
• Maintain digital and hard-copy records; up-to-date in the archives.
• Train staff on the database; act as liaison for Tech/One Tribe changes.
