Job summary

The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is seeking a Case Aide in Washington to support visitation and transportation services for families reunifying with their children. You will assist Case Workers, CPS, ICW Liaisons, and Foster Home Licensors, and help with after-hours tasks and events.

Responsibilities include supervisory visits, documenting reports, coordinating resources, and maintaining calendars. The role requires flexibility for evening and weekend work and a commitment to confidentiality and

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 1 year related experience in a Social Work setting.
• Must have beginner to intermediate Word and Excel experience.
• No CPS history or founded allegations of abuse or neglect.

Responsibilities

• Participates in weekly staffing meetings with supervisor.
• Supervises visits and provides written visitation reports.
• Provides transportation for children and families to appointments and documents records.
• Assists department in identifying resources for families (phone, appointments, transportation).
• Obtains necessary paperwork to meet family needs.
• Assists with paperwork, filing, and uploading into databases.
• May transport children out of state or assist with transport.
• Responds to afterhours emergencies as needed.
• Schedules visitations with some nights, holidays, weekends.
• Maintains multiple calendars and follows up on caseload concerns.
• Maintains client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Participates in trainings and community events.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and cross-training.
