Suffolk is seeking a Planner 3 in San Luis Obispo, CA. The role focuses on CPM scheduling for medium projects, using P6, Procore Schedule, and SmartPM, with guidance from Planning leadership.

3–6 years of experience is expected, with the ability to connect schedule to field execution. The Planner 3 will develop, update, and analyze schedules, coordinate with project teams and trade partners, and support enterprise reporting and dashboards.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable discipline.
• 2-4 years of CPM scheduling experience.
• Proficient with Oracle Primavera P6 for schedule development, updating, reporting, and data entry.
• Ability to support schedule development and updates for one or more medium projects (3,000–5,000 activities).
• Read construction drawings and translate systems into schedule sequences.

• Provides on-site schedule support by preparing and updating pre-construction and construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develops and manages schedules for medium projects (3,000–5,000 activities) with guidance from Planning Manager/Director.
• Gathers project information including submittals, procurement, design, permitting, and coordination.
• Calculates activity durations using production rates and historical data.
• Assembles baseline schedules using Suffolk's Work Breakdown Structure and detail level.
• Performs schedule updates at least twice per month and as required by contract.
• Prepares schedule reports, analyzes variances, and documents causes and impacts.
