Job summary

Suffolk is seeking a Senior Planner to support projects over $100 million by creating baseline and progress schedules, providing technical input, and analyzing updates. The role includes training and mentoring on scheduling techniques and Lean concepts.

Ideal candidates have a strong CPM background, Primavera P6 expertise, and experience managing complex schedules across multiple projects. This is a full-time position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or an applicable discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of scheduling experience on large-scale construction projects (>$75M).
• Experience in building projects and high-rise structures preferred.
• Proven ability to develop, maintain, forecast, and control scheduling costs.
• Expert in CPM scheduling with impact analysis of changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced level scheduling support to assigned projects.
• Manage schedules for more than one project.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain project schedules (generally 5000+ activities).
• Participate in updating the master schedule and enterprise reporting.
• Assist PMs and Superintendents in developing baseline schedules with resource planning and cash flow.
• Gather schedule information, update, analyze, and report progress.
• Prepare schedule narratives describing project status.
• Prepare Time Impact Analyses for contract revisions.
