Suffolk is seeking a Planner 1 in San Luis Obispo, CA to support project teams with scheduling for vertical and horizontal building projects. The role involves learning to integrate Short-Term Planning with the CPM schedule, using Procore Schedule, SmartPM, and other planning tools under guidance from Planning leadership.

Responsibilities include preparing and updating schedules in Primavera P6, producing reports, and assisting with Time Impact Analyses to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 1-2 years of CPM scheduling experience.
• Foundational CPM scheduling principles understood.
• Ability to read drawings and translate to workflows.

Responsabilités

• Provides on-site schedule support by preparing and updating pre-construction and construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develops project schedules for small or routine projects and manages multiple projects.
• Collects and incorporates project information with guidance.
• Performs schedule updates at least twice per month.
• Supports Schedule Review meetings with reports and variance documentation.
• Provides schedule information to enterprise reporting and dashboards.
• Applies activity and schedule coding for data collection and analytics.
• Prepares baseline and monthly schedule narratives using standard templates.
• Identifies weather impacts and schedule issues affecting critical work.
