Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior Planner to support large-scale projects, creating baseline and progress schedules for ongoing work. You will provide technical input on schedules, analyze updates, and help drive schedule performance across multiple projects in a dynamic setting.

Ideal candidates bring a strong CPM background, proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel, and MS Project, and a willingness to obtain the AACEI PSP certification within six months.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or an applicable discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of scheduling experience on large-scale ($75M+) construction projects.
• Experience in preparing schedules for building projects and high-rise structures is preferred.
• Proven experience in developing, maintaining, forecasting, and controlling scheduling costs.
• Expert in CPM scheduling with ability to review and analyze schedules for impact.
• Experience with Primavera P6 PM Enterprise Scheduling Software including cost/resource loading; current version preferred.
• Full proficiency in CPM techniques; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong skills in Excel and MS Project; data import/export proficiency.

• Provide advanced level scheduling support to assigned projects.
• Manage schedules for more than one project.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain schedules typically with 5000+ activities per project.
• Participate in updating the master schedule and enterprise reporting.
• Assist PMs and Superintendents in developing baseline schedules including resource planning and cash flow.
• Gather schedule information, update, analyze, and prepare progress reports.
• Prepare concise schedule narratives describing project status.
• Prepare Time Impact Analyses to support contract revisions.
• Ensure compliance with scheduling procedures for baseline schedules.
• Maintain quality assurance and control on project schedules.
• Train PMs and Superintendents on scheduling procedures and techniques.
• Prepare lessons learned on completed projects.
• Provide formal CPM schedule training to company employees.
• Understand Lean Pull Planning concepts.
