Job summary

CHANEL, a Rodeo Drive boutique, is seeking an Alterations Specialist to deliver high-quality alterations within set timeframes and provide exceptional client service.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, handling hems, seams, and fabric-specific alterations while maintaining client relationships and CHANEL standards. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure equipment is well maintained and processes run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma required.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a luxury retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Uphold production standards to deliver the CHANEL experience.
• Fit and alter a wide range of garments for clients.
• Organize and maintain client pieces per CHANEL standards.
• Interact with clients to offer styling and fitting advice.
• Maintain knowledge of alteration techniques and fabrics used by CHANEL.
• Ensure sewing machines and equipment are in proper working order.
• Collaborate with the team to foster trust and teamwork.
• Alter or repair garments including hemming, seams, and alterations.
• Fitting garments on clients to determine alterations.
