Job summary

CHANEL, Inc. is seeking an Alterations Specialist in Boca Raton to produce high-quality alterations within set time frames and deliver exceptional client service. You will work with luxury fabrics and equipment, maintaining organized client pieces and providing styling input.

Expect a collaborative boutique environment reporting to the Operations Manager, with a focus on attention to detail, advanced alteration techniques, and superior guest experience in a luxury retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years alterations experience in luxury retail.
• Ability to lift 15 lb and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Alter or repair clients' garments including hemming, mending, lengthening, and taking in/out seams.
• Fit garments on clients to determine alterations.
• Construct garments according to client specifications.
• Label and record alterations for client pieces.
• Interact with clients to offer styling and fitting advice.
• Maintain sewing equipment and ensure proper working order.
