CHANEL, Inc. is seeking an Alterations Specialist in New York, NY to produce high-quality alterations within established time frames and to deliver exceptional client service.

You will interact with clients, suggest styling and fitting advice, and work with a boutique team to maintain CHANEL standards. The role requires luxury fabrication knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work under time constraints.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• 5+ years alterations experience in luxury retail preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with clients.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lb and work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Alter, hem, mend, lengthen, and adjust garments to client specifications.
• Fit garments on clients and determine alteration methods.
• Label and record alterations, maintain client pieces and equipment.
• Provide styling and fitting advice and excellent client service.
