Job summary

CHANEL on Rodeo Drive seeks an Alterations Specialist to produce high-quality alterations within set time frames, delivering exceptional service and building client relationships. You will work with a diverse boutique team, ensuring precise alterations on luxury garments and maintaining pieces for clients.

The role requires strong technical alterations skills for leather, knits, beading and fine tailoring, with the ability to interact with clients and provide styling advice.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years alterations experience in luxury retail.
• Ability to lift 15 lb and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments and repairs to client specifications (hemming, lengthening, taking in/out seams).
• Fitting garments on clients to determine alterations required.
• Label and document alterations for each client piece.
• Maintain and operate sewing equipment to ensure quality work.
• Interact with clients to offer styling and fitting advice.
• Collaborate with boutique team to deliver outstanding client service.
