Job summary

CHANEL is seeking an Alterations Specialist, VIP on Rodeo Drive to deliver high-quality alterations for Ready-To-Wear and Haute Couture. You will ensure precise fittings for VIP clients, work with VIP relations and boutique teams, and demonstrate exceptional sewing expertise across luxury fabrics.

Qualifications

Five years of alterations experience in luxury retail preferred.
Sound knowledge of fabrics and sewing techniques.
Ability to work under time constraints.
Exceptional client service skills.
Detail oriented and careful with fabrications and patterns.

Responsibilities

Uphold production standards to deliver the CHANEL experience for VIPs.
Properly fit each garment for VIPs across a range of garments.
Interact appropriately with VIPs and coordinate with VIP relations and boutiques teams.
Maintain current knowledge of CHANEL alteration techniques, fabrications, and styling.
Alter or repair VIP garments including hemming, mending, and seam adjustments.
