Job summary

Courtyard Manhattan Central Park, under Aimbridge Hospitality, seeks a Safety & Security Manager to drive proactive protection programs in a bustling New York hotel. You will lead security initiatives, manage risk, and collaborate with hotel teams to ensure safety is integrated into daily operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in safety and security, relevant certifications, and a valid state driver license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or a closely related field is preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in safety and security management, with a focus on strategic planning and risk management.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.
• Must have a valid Driver License for the applicable State.
• Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training and/or State Security License, including applicable background checks, per State requirements.
• CPR, First Aid and AED Certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross or HSI.
• AHLA Certified Lodging Security Director certification completed within 60 days of hire.

Join Our Team as a Safety & Security Manager!

As our Safety and Security Manager, you'll be the driving force behind creative security solutions—plotting bold strategies, taming potential risks, and steering our security budget with finesse. In this exciting role, you'll champion innovative safety programs and join forces with teams across the hotel, making sure everyone’s working together for a safe and welcoming environment.

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
