Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring items are not damaged, aiming for at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
• Assisting customers with loading bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks for cashiers and adhering to safety and food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers and assisting with questions about products.
• Following all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Managing conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Following directions and seeking assistance when needed.
