Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers about grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather carts.
8. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
11. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
12. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
13. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
14. Follow all legal, safety, and company guidelines.
15. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Support and assist vulnerable populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
