Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently and carefully, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials.
• Returning merchandise to shelves and gathering shopping carts.
• Maintaining cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and store areas inside and outside.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks and adhering to safety, food safety, and maintenance procedures.
• Creating a welcoming environment and assisting customers with questions, including support for minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Following all laws, guidelines, and store policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflict appropriately, and acting with honesty and integrity.
