Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
• Using best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from carts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials.
• Returning merchandise to store shelves and gathering carts for return.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout knowledge and price checks.
• Following safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment, reporting repairs needed, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflict professionally, and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Providing support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
