Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
7. Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
8. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas inside and outside.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
11. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
12. Perform preventive maintenance and notify management of repair needs.
13. Create a welcoming environment, assist customers, and answer questions about products.
14. Comply with all laws and company policies, including safety and confidentiality.
15. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
16. Support and assist vulnerable populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and the elderly.
17. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
