Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather carts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
• Reinforce safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment, report repairs needed, and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance as needed; support customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
