About the Position

This role offers the flexibility of being primarily remote while also requiring in‑person coverage of depositions and legal proceedings. The position reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager. We are hiring for US citizens and do not provide H1B visa support.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with live Prevail depositions/sessions, which include recording on the Prevail platform, deposition read/swearing in witness, marking and maintaining exhibits, monitoring and managing the session, and assisting any sessions with technical/administrative needs.

Required Qualifications

• Current court reporting or notary license for the state
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience with video conferencing/database platforms
• Excellent working knowledge of Google Workspaces, Slack, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• A webcam, headset, and computer for remote depositions

Compensation

Appearance fee: $50–75 per hour; page rate: TBD. The range is based on several factors, including geographical location, level of experience, relevant skills, and knowledge. Prevail Legal reserves the right to change this job description to meet the organization's business needs.
