Job summary

The Fifth Judicial District Court in Lea County, Lovington, New Mexico has a full-time Judicial Specialist 2 opening. The role works Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and uses a case management system to open, docket, and close cases with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with court processes and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Open, docket, and close cases using the case management system.
• Provide procedural information to pro se litigants without legal advice.
• Process and reconcile monies, prepare bank deposits, and maintain bond reports.
• Ensure court records, schedules, and calendars are kept up to date.
• Provide public case information to parties, attorneys, and law enforcement.
