Job summary

Finalist(s) may undergo criminal background checks. The role supports jury management, records handling, and customer service for pro se litigants while ensuring accurate cash handling and bond reporting.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Two years in court case processing or related field.
• Typing certification may be required by the NM Workforce Solutions.
• Certification may be requested: NM Court Monitor Certification.

Responsibilities

• Open, docket, and close cases using the case management system.
• Provide information to the public and litigants without giving legal advice.
• Process filings, review documents for format, signatures, and fees.
• Manage court records, exhibits, and jury materials.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and bond reports.
• Prepare notices, final orders, and other court documents.
• Coordinate jury management and voir dire materials.
• Support other court programs and offices as needed.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Two years of experience in court case processing

Typing certification (NM DWS or equivalent)

NM Court Monitor Certification (may be required)
