Job summary

The New Mexico Judiciary in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Judicial Specialist II for a full-time permanent position. Under supervision, you will process court documents, receipt and reconcile court fines and fees, and provide excellent customer service.

The role uses the case management system to manage case data and filings, with knowledge of Odyssey/SHARE desirable and bilingual ability a plus. Finalists will undergo background checks.

Qualifications

• Typing certification with a proficiency score of at least 35 net words per minute may be required.
• New Mexico Workforce Connection Certification must have been issued within two years of application.

Responsibilities

• Open, docket, and close cases using the case management system under supervision.
• Provide customer service information to pro se litigants while not giving legal advice.
• Receipt, reconcile, and record court fines and fees; manage cash handling procedures.
• Process and distribute documents, files, and case materials; review filings for format, signatures, and filing fees.
