Job summary

Commonwealth of VA Careers seeks a PC Analyst/Support Technician for the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The role reports to the Clerk of Court and works under the Chief Deputy Clerk of Administration to maintain IT services.

Responsibilities include hardware/software troubleshooting, configuring video conferencing, training users in Office apps, managing inventory, updating forms and the court website, and coordinating IT projects with City and Supreme Court IT.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting and support.
• Proficient in training staff to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot PCs, printers, scanners, and video conferencing equipment.
• Train new users in PC hardware and software usage.
• Respond to user needs and coordinate IT issues with City and Supreme Court IT.
• Manage hardware, software licenses, repairs, upgrades, and forms inventory.
• Create and update forms to be user-friendly, pdf-fillable, and ADA compliant.
• Update the court's local website and social media accounts.
• Coordinate IT projects with City and Supreme Court IT staff.
• Manage remote hearing requests and provide excellent customer service.
