Job summary

New Mexico Judiciary in Las Cruces, NM is hiring a Judicial Specialist II for full-time permanent work. Under supervision, you will process court documents, receipt and reconcile fines and fees, and deliver excellent customer service while using the court’s case management systems.

Proficiency in Odyssey/SHARE is desirable; Spanish language ability is a plus. The position involves handling electronic filings, fee processing, and various court procedures, with compliance to state policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of legal terminology and case processing practices.
• Experience with court processing or related administrative work.
• Familiarity with court case management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open, docket, and close cases in the case management system.
• Provide general procedural information to pro se litigants without legal advice.
• Receipt and reconciliation of filing fees and court monies; prepare bank deposits.
• Maintain and organize court documents, files, and materials.
