Job summary

Cooper Farms in Oakwood, Ohio is seeking a 1st shift Courier Driver to join our team. This full-time role drives a scheduled pickup and delivery route across Cooper Farms locations, loading and unloading vehicles and adhering to safety guidelines.

Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid license and a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds and move up to 150 pounds as needed. Starting pay is $17.55/hour with a potential increase after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record compliant with Cooper Farms Fleet Safety Manual
• Must have 5 or more years of driving experience and be able to safely drive in adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to routinely lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds and move loads up to 150 pounds, as needed, with moving carts.
• Must be able to routinely walk up and down steps and pathways affected by weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Driving a scheduled pickup and delivery route across various Cooper Farms locations
• Loading and unloading Cooper Farms vehicles at the proper destinations
• Following all state and local traffic laws as well as Cooper Farms driving guidelines
• Conducting regular vehicle inspection checks and report any vehicle maintenance issues in a timely manner

SHIFT HOURS:

Monday through Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$17.55 with the potential of increasing to $18.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY:

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
