Job summary

Cooper Farms in Fort Recovery, Ohio is seeking a 3rd shift Feed Delivery Driver to join our CDL team. You will deliver feed as scheduled, keep trucks clean, and perform daily tractor/trailer inspections.

Starting rate is $25.80/hour with potential to rise to $26.30 after 90 days, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid over six months and profit-sharing bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and have a Class A CDL.
• Must have 2 year’s driving experience, along with a clean driving record.
• Ability to tolerate adverse weather conditions and dusty conditions.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb feed bin ladders.

Responsibilities

• Delivering all feed as scheduled.
• Properly disinfecting trucks and using proper biosecurity attire.
• Completing a daily inspection of tractor/trailer and maintain cleanliness per DOT Commercial Driving Inspections.
• Completing driver logs and inspection/maintenance reports.

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Feed Delivery Driver to join our CDL team in Fort Recovery.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $500 each month for the first six months. Internal candidates must commit to at least 1 year in this position to be eligible.

SHIFT HOURS:

Sunday through Thursday 7:00pm-5:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$25.80 with the potential of increasing to $26.30 after 90 days
