Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to supervise and guide a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. You will manage routines, transport, devotions, and activities, ensuring a structured, supportive environment.

The role requires a married couple, both 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Housing, meals, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
