Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents working as a couple to provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. The role includes managing routines, devotions, and community activities to foster students' academic, emotional, and social growth.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses 27+, and have a valid U.S. driver’s license with potential van certification.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental, recreational engagements.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
