Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to reside in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students. The role emphasizes care, guidance, supervision, and a structured family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

The position requires a two-person married couple, ages 27+, with a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Housing, meals on duty, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth is required.
• This is a two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older and legally married for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and participate in development and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
