Job summary

Graybar Indianapolis is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to be the friendly, knowledgeable face for customers in our store. You will assist walk-in buyers, process will-call orders, and learn a broad range of Graybar products to match customer needs.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate merchandising, and collaboration with the warehouse team. Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with benefits and growth opportunities in a supportive, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service in a retail/industrial environment.
• Strong communication to understand customer needs.
• Ability to meet physical requirements in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar's products through self-study and training.
• Place, arrange and maintain merchandise in counter area.
• Sell merchandise to walk-in customers and manage will-call orders.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Be active in the warehouse.
