Job summary

Tropic Supply, Inc. seeks a Counter Sales Representative for HVAC and Refrigeration in West Tampa, FL. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, serving technicians who rely on fast, accurate product knowledge at the counter.

You will identify the right parts, enter sales orders, process transactions, handle returns and warranty claims, and help keep the front end running smoothly. We are a family-owned company with 53 years of service, offering benefits including company-paid

Qualifications

• Experience at a parts counter, supply house, or trades-adjacent environment, required.
• Familiarity serving HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, mechanics, or similar trade professionals.
• Comfort with product lookups, order entry, and fast-paced counter operations.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move materials safely in a warehouse and counter setting.
• Clear, professional, and patient communication under pressure.
