Job summary

Tropic Supply, Inc. is seeking a Counter Sales Representative for HVAC and refrigeration in Sunrise, FL.

You will be the trusted advisor at the counter, helping technicians identify the right parts, answer questions in real time, and move orders quickly with accuracy. Responsibilities include entering sales orders, processing transactions, handling returns and warranties, assisting with stocking and inventory counts, and building relationships with contractors to earn long-term loyalty.

Qualifications

• Experience at a parts counter or trades-adjacent environment.
• Familiarity serving HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, mechanics, or similar trade professionals.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move materials safely.
• Clear, professional communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Identify the right part and answer product questions in real time, moving quickly with accuracy.
• Enter sales orders, process transactions, and handle returns, credits, and warranty claims.
• Keep the front end running smoothly during high volume and customer queues.
• Assist with stocking, inventory counts, and loading product safely.
• Build relationships with contractors to earn loyalty beyond a single sale.
