Tropic Supply, Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist HVAC technicians and refrigeration contractors with fast, accurate part recommendations and real-time product knowledge.

You will enter sales orders, manage returns and warranties, stock the floor, and help customers load product safely while building lasting relationships. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday on-site role at Tropic Supply, Inc., where teamwork and professionalism are valued and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience at a parts counter, supply house, or trades-adjacent environment.
• Familiarity serving HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, or mechanics.
• Ability to look up parts and assist with fast-paced counter operations.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Help technicians and contractors identify the right part and solve product questions in real time, moving fast without sacrificing accuracy
• Enter sales orders, process transactions, and handle returns, credits, and warranty claims
• Keep the front end running cleanly even when volume is high and customers are stacked up
• Assist with stocking, inventory counts, and helping customers load product safely
• Build relationships that bring contractors back, treating every interaction as a chance to earn loyalty, not just close a transaction
• You are the first person a contractor sees when they walk in and the last impression they take with them. Your job is to make both count.
